Vantier Cabinetry Limited Warranty

Vantier Cabinetry products are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Coverage extends for a period of five (5) years from the original date of purchase for most cabinetry lines. Painted finishes are covered for a period of two (2) years. In all cases, warranty coverage is limited to the duration of home ownership by the original purchaser, whichever period is shorter.

This warranty is intended for residential applications only, is non-transferable, and requires valid proof of purchase. Vantier Cabinetry may source products from multiple manufacturers, and specific warranty terms may vary by product line. Customers are encouraged to confirm line-specific warranty details prior to purchase.

What Is Not Covered

This limited warranty does not apply to damage or defects resulting from:

  • Improper handling, storage, or installation

  • Modifications or alterations to the product

  • Exposure to excessive moisture, humidity, or extreme temperatures

  • Misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents

  • Normal wear and tear from everyday use

Products must be installed and used strictly as intended. Any deviation from standard residential use or improper installation will void this warranty.

Additionally, this warranty does not include:

  • Labor costs for installation, removal, or reinstallation

  • Transportation or freight expenses

  • Damage to surrounding materials or structures

  • Related components such as countertops, appliances, or plumbing fixtures

Natural Characteristics of Wood

Vantier Cabinetry products are constructed using solid wood and wood veneers. As a natural material, wood will exhibit variations in grain, tone, and texture. These inherent characteristics—including knots, mineral streaks, and color differences—are not considered defects.

Over time, exposure to light (natural or artificial) will cause gradual color changes. Replacement components may not perfectly match existing cabinetry due to natural aging and environmental factors. These variations are expected and are not covered under warranty.

Environmental conditions such as humidity and temperature fluctuations may also affect wood movement. Minor joint separation, surface changes, or finish variations—particularly in painted finishes—are normal and not considered defects.

Door warping must exceed 1/4 inch to be considered for review, and doors should remain installed through a full seasonal cycle before evaluation.

Warranty Resolution

Vantier Cabinetry’s responsibility under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective components, as determined upon inspection. If an exact replacement is unavailable due to product discontinuation or changes in design, a comparable substitute will be provided.

Replacement parts are subject to availability and may differ slightly from original components. Vantier Cabinetry is not responsible for ensuring an exact visual match.

Claims Process

All warranty claims must be submitted through the original dealer or distributor where the product was purchased. The purchaser must provide documentation and details of the issue, and may be required to submit photographs for evaluation. Physical return of defective items should not be made unless specifically requested.

The dealer will coordinate with the manufacturer to review and process the claim.

Limitations

This warranty represents the complete and exclusive warranty provided by Vantier Cabinetry and replaces all other express or implied warranties to the extent permitted by law. Vantier Cabinetry shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from product use or failure.
